The Pessimist

The work depicts an ominous setting with the portrayal of a
Waterfall against a Red Sky. The depiction attempts to capture our innate
pessimist who ignores the beauty and peace offered by the movement of
water along the fall. Instead, more often than not, we are drawn toward the
ominous red of the sky that awakens a sense of uncertainty and inevitability
of bad news around the corner. The work is a reminder to the Pessimist that
today is a Blessing and tomorrow could be one too if only we have the
patience and perseverance.
